Seasonal migrations and temperature changes affect how active the different types of fish are each month; however, Captain Rich and the team will be targeting the right type of fish before you book your trip! If you have a specific species in mind, we will also let you know what is currently in season and biting before booking your trip. We offer specialized trips for certain species, such as snapper and shark. You are welcome to call us prior to making your reservation.

Captain Rich and his team will do their best to create a safe, fun, and enjoyable experience for all age groups on each trip. The ideal timing for shark fishing in Southwest Florida is generally during the warmer seasons, specifically from late spring until early autumn when most sharks are very active. The summer months are the most popular times of year to catch a wide range of different species of sharks in the Fort Myers region. There are great opportunities for daytime and nighttime fishing adventures during the summer. Captain Rich and his crew will always choose to target the type of shark that will be the most active on the day that you are there to ensure you have the best fishing experience possible.
You do not have to purchase a fishing license for your trip as all required licenses are included in your charter; therefore, the price of your charter includes any required fishing licenses at no extra cost! A licensed fishing charter is how you will have everything you need for an enjoyable, stress-free day out on the water, where you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the fishing.
