FAQ

We do not allow splitting. Our fishing charters are designed to be private based. Therefore, we do not split trips and only take bookings for individual private parties.

With our license, we can cover a maximum of 4 fishing anglers. However, our boat can accommodate a maximum of 6 passengers.

Speak to Captain Rich if you have more than 4 anglers who want to fish.  We can offer alternative options to accommodate.

We provide the poles, bait, and fun! Ice will be available on board but we recommend bringing more if you wish to use it for drinks.

You’re welcome to bring any food and beverages on board, as well as coolers and ice if you prefer. NO GLASS CONTAINERS, PLEASE. Alcohol is permitted for passengers who are aged 21+ and can provide legal ID. We ask that you drink responsibly.

In the Sunshine state it is very important to protect your skin. For this reason, we recommend all passengers bring hats, sunglasses, and sun screen (50+ SPF). Don’t forget your camera for capturing those lasting memories!

Luck o’ The Irish Fishing Charters does not provide food or drinks but we do welcome you to bring your own, ESPECIALLY water. During our full day excursions the option to stop at a restaurant is allowed per your request. Note that any luxury stops will be included as part of the time and cost.

You can BYOB if you are 21+, but please drink responsibly.

Although we encourage passengers to use our rods and reels, we allow you to bring your own. However, we will supply the tackle and bait.

We do not have latrines on board. However, on our Back Bay and Dolphin tours we are typically only minutes away from accessing a public bathroom. On any of our charters, don’t hesitate to let the captain know if you need to stop and use a restroom.

We accept cash and credit cards (gratuity is not automatically included). A credit card is required to place on file for holding your charter booking, but you have the option to pay with cash instead on the day of your charter.

You will not be charged if you cancel up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled departure. We will also not charge if Capt. Rich decides to cancel due to inclement weather and your charter is unable to be rescheduled for another date or time.

If you have to cancel for any reason within one week of the booked date, deposits will be credited to a future booking. Deposits are retained if the charter is not canceled by phone or email at least one week prior to your reservation. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the reservation will be charged for the full amount to your credit card.
