Luck o’ The Irish Fishing Charters got its name from the origin of the owner, himself. Born in Tullamore, Ireland, Captain Rich made his way to the United States as a young man in 2001. It did not take him long to discover that Southwest Florida was his new place to call home. This was where he could pursue his deepest passion of fishing. The only thing Captain Rich enjoys more than pulling in a red is helping his customers experience the same thrill! He has made quite the life for himself over the last 20 years. He is humbled by how far he has come and loves to pass that same Irish luck to his passengers.

HEAD CAPTAIN
Captain Kenny comes to us seasonally. When he’s not fishing the waters of Fort Myers Beach, you can also find him running charters in Alaska. If there’s a body of water, he enjoys fishing it. Captain Kenny’s extensive experience as a fishing captain runs for miles (literally), making him a wonderful asset to our team. His fun personality makes him one of the best captains on Fort Myers Beach, and we’re LUCKY to have him!

April was born and raised in Fort Myers, FL just shy of 40 years. She grew up watching her hometown develop and change drastically. Working at the age of 14, April spent most of her career in customer service and business management. Helping Captain Rich start Luck o’ The Irish developed a new love for marketing in her. As a Florida Cracker, April grew up on the beaches and swamps of Lee county. There’s nothing she loves more than bon fires, mudding, and camping with her family and friends. As Captain Rich’s lifetime first mate, she works hard to support the business while homeschooling their 3 children.
