Take Home Dinner After Your Shark Fishing Charter
Fort Myers Beach is the Perfect Place to Catch Dinner
After you take home your shark, you may enjoy using our own recipe for Shark Steaks:
Spiced Shark Steak
Ingredients
3 (8 oz) Shark steaks (our captains will filet your catch for you)
Saute the minced garlic and chopped onion in olive oil for 5 minutes, until tender.
Pour the onion and garlic into a bowl and mix together with the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and chili powder to form a paste. Spread an even layer of the mixture on both sides of each shark steak. Place them on a plate and cover. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Arrange the shark on a baking sheet. Cover with tin foil and bake until cooked completely through, about 40 minutes, turning the steaks over approximately 20 minutes into bake time. Remove the tin foil 10 minutes before the end of baking time.
Enjoy! (Tip: Shark is paired well with yellow and Spanish rice.)
